My name is Julia Miller, I was diagnosed with T cell lymphoma, I came to ITC unsure of what to expect or if it was the right decision but I’m so glad we decided to go to ITC!! It was the best decision ever!! The first minute we walked into the clinic we felt welcome!! We’ve been at ITC twice now and they have not disappointed!! The first time I got here I had no appetite no energy and was at a very low and sick from doing chemo in the states!! I started treatment the next day and by the 3rd day I could already notice more energy and a better appetite, and it kept improving daily!!! As of today I’m CANCER FREE and in remission!! From DR. Batista to DR. Alvarez and all the staff everyone always going the extra mile for you!! They are very organized very professional and caring!! I can’t say enough good things about them!! Best medical care i have ever experienced in my life.I live in New Zealand and traveled to Mexicali on the 23 April 2012 i travelled more then 22hours was met at San Diego California airport by driver that hospital arranged hes name was Louie what a great person he made me feel comfortable and we spoke all way to hospital.At hospital i had great welcome and was made to feel like im at home.Then i met Dr. Jorge Maytorena what i lovely person he explained whole precedure to me (Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy)i felt comfortable and at ease as i knew by speaking to him im in good hands.He told me to rest up for surgery next day. Great dental experience. I had 4 fillings, 2 extractions and 2 implants. Everything went well. The doctors, assistants and staff members were all professional and very helpful. The doctor was very gentle with my procedure. I had no bruising and quit talking my pain meds 12 hrs after the procedure.

I spent 3 weeks at ITC in May 2022 and had such a wonderful experience. The staff were so kind and attentive, the treatments were effective & mostly soothing, not having to think about meals was so helpful and the MANY friendships I (and so many others) built there were priceless. I was being treated for stage 4 breast cancer and I had wonderful success in lowering my CA blood markers AND Dr. Alvarez listens so well & truly cares about his patients. I had been complaining to my oncology and radiology oncologist in AZ for weeks that it had become hard to breathe and I was coughing a ton... they did nothing but prescribe me steroids (which cause bone loss & I already had bone mets all over!) Dr. Alvarez listened to my lungs with his stethoscope and said we needed to do an ultrasound same day (AND on my very first day at ITC) to see how much fluid was built up around my lungs. Thank goodness he did! I was literally drowning in my own fluids! They scheduled me SAME DAY to have the fluid extracted, and removed 1,100 cc. I am so grateful that Dr. Alvarez still stays in touch and answers questions and concerns when I do still reach out. I highly recommend ITC. I only wish I would have gone there 4.5 years ago after my initial diagnosis instead of years of suffering later.
