Part of the reason I chose Evita Clinic was based on glowing reviews from other happy clientele, so I hope my review makes your decision that much easier. To start, my only regret is not having (L2) gynecomastia surgery sooner.

The Staff are wonderful: friendly, helpful, and professional. They answered all of my questions - in English - (perhaps too many on my part), and made me feel right at home. I actually looked forward to my follow-up visits!

The Clinic is modern and clean, and generally resembles a spa. But what I appreciated most were the “doctor’s touches” here and there: a few Lord of the Rings statuettes mixed in with the product, Star Wars paraphernalia in the waiting room, and an excellent assortment of music. I could feel Doctor Jeon’s personality mingling in with the design.

Doctor (Francis) Jeon was warm, informative and honest. He did well to manage my expectations before surgery, and provided excellent follow-up care afterwards. I get the impression that he’s proud of his work, and happy to help people out.

The Results are beyond what I expected. I’m healthy and in reasonable shape for a man in my 40’s, but I never felt “athletic” - I do now.

For American travelers requiring L2 gynecomastia surgery, plan on spending 10 days in Seoul. Even factoring in flights and accommodations you’ll still pay less here for much higher quality work, and get a vacation out of the deal, too.

My Experience:

I flew from New Zealand to Seoul in December 2022 to have my Gynecomastia, Grade 2, corrected. Not speaking a word of Korean I was nervous, as you\'d expect, but Dr Jeon and his team of staff immediately welcome you and put you at ease. The team can speak English fluently and prior to my procedure I was updated on what I needed to do to prepare for it in the days beforehand.

I was walked through every step of the process, with markings on my chest to show what would happen and encouraged to ask questions. Afterwards I went into the operating room and the next thing I knew I was waking up in the recovery room on a heated bed while my fluids were topped up. The whole thing took maybe 40 minutes! Jiwon and the other nurses were simply amazing and I cannot thank the team enough. Being so far from home I was obviously nervous, but they really made me feel relaxed and reassured.

I was fitted for a compression garment and sent on my way to a pharmacy to collect the proscribed medicine for pain. However, there really wasn\'t any pain and the results were instant. I felt confident and the only issue I had was the slight limitation in lifting my arms, but this went after a few days. The bruising was also minor and went within a few days.

I returned to the clinic the next day where I had my wounds checked, cleaned and then shown how to do this myself. Following this I returned 2 or 3 further times over the next week to have check ups and my staples out and I also received the results of the removed glands which were checked in a lab. I then flew back to New Zealand with a certificate for the airport security, letting them know I had a compression vest on due to a surgery.

To think I lived with this condition for years which had eroded my self confidence and in a matter of days it was corrected, allowing me to go forward with my head held high. You\'ve changed my life and I only wish I had done it sooner.

I am so happy that I chose Evita Clinic. They were beyond accommodating. I’ll start off by saying, I was afraid of there being a language barrier, but that was not the case. Excellent communication in person and over the phone.
Secondly, they made me feel so welcomed. Every time I walk in the door, they always welcome me with a warm smile and greet me by name. It really makes you feel cared for when they remember who you are. I was introduced to Evita clinic by a friend, who had gone before.

Since I had quite a few enquiries regarding liposuction, I messaged in them in English via whatsapp and their response was in English, was very prompt and each reply to my questions were very clear for me to understand.

I decided to go with doing liposuction for my legs, tummy and arms. Dr Jeon explained everything to me well and starting drawing the areas on my body which he wanted to work on. I was then moved into the surgical room and the next thing I knew, I woke up with everything all done. I like the fact that they only focus on 1 patient a day, so you really get their full attention.

From the beginning of my journey and right to the end, the nurses, Manager-nim and Dr Jeon were all so nice, helping me each step of the way.

There are also free after care services which Evita provides in aiding in the recovery of your body.

Dr Jeon is extremely generous, he saw a keloid near my chest area and helped flatten it completely.

Manager-nim is a friendly and homely person, even sending me guides on where I can tour around Korea.

Evita is such a nice and cosy place, with warm people working there. I felt an immediate connection to the place, and it did not feel like some cold hospital you may get from other places.

You can head back to your daily life almost immediately after the surgery, tightness and some soreness might be felt during the first month, but by the second and third month, I felt like I was almost back to normal. Evita also texts you to check in how you are doing.

It has been about 3 months since the surgery, I have never felt so good and it has completely brought about a huge confidence to myself.

Highly recommend Evita, price is valued for money, great Doctor, great nurses, cosy clinic, fantastic after care service, you won’t get anything better than this.

I finally decided to bite the bullet and get Gynecomastia surgery. After researching around for the most suitable place Evita seemed a clear winner. As I write this I am 2-months post-surgery and that opinion remains the same. My only issue is not having done this sooner.

Dr. Jeon was very to-the-point with information. You can tell from the way he approached the procedure and discussions that he is extremely experienced having done it for so many years. His almost relaxed style approach to discussions made me feel confident in him.

The staff were fantastic, I could message them anytime through WhatsAppand get a swift response.

The practicioners were pleasant to talk to, friendly and yet professional at all times. I enjoyed just chatting with them when they were doing things like taking care of me in the recovery room or changing dressings.

Had a surgery done recently for me and my husband by Dr. Jeon. From booking, pre-op and post-op until recovery has gone smoothly. It was my first time, so it matters a lot to me. I had arm liposuction, and I saw the result immediately. My husband had a liposuction and tummy tuck and gynecomastia surgery.

We both don\'t speak korean, but everyone made us feel comfortable, and they speak English. Had our consultation the same day and had the surgery as well. Clinic closes at 7pm but we left just before 9pm because they will make sure that you are fully well before you get discharged and we really appreciate it.

Patient experience is really good and so is the surgery. Everything was explained properly both the pros and cons. We were both well looked after and the follow-up and therapy are already included in the package. Dr. Jeon himself does the dressing and other therapy is done by the nurses.

To the whole Evita team, we couldn\'t thank you enough for all the care that you\'ve done for me and my husband.

If you are researching this location for one of their treatments, end your search now. The doctor, nurses, anesthesiologists and front desk staff are the nicest people you will meet. This office felt like family and there was no pressure from start to finish. Everyone speaks English and every room is incredibly clean. You can message them on WhatsApp prior to your visit and they will answer all your questions. They do same day consult and surgery and can even assist with booking your hotel across the street. They offer amazing pricing (listed online for my treatment) compared to other locations nearby and while I’m still months away from getting my final result, I’m so much happier a couple weeks post surgery. Depending on how long you are in Korea, you will be able to take advantage of their red light treatments and massages depending on the treatment you are there for. I will be posting a more detailed review on Reddit but there are already some great reviews posted there for certain treatments and it’s how I found this clinic and why I ended up choosing them. I had liposuction around 2 months ago. The results are amazing, I\'m very satisfied.
All staff speak English very well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Everything starting with pre-op, surgery as well as post-op went extremely smoothly. All my questions were answered right away. Everyone was very patient with me. Nurse care was at the highest level. No hidden costs. All the post-op visits, massages, changes of bandaids, and stitches removal were included in the initial price. The price was very affordable.
I was provided with a prescription and explained where is the nearest pharmacy. I also got printed-out instructions on what to expect after my surgery.
Also, I got all the documents for the tax refund and was instructed where can I claim it.
I recommend this Clinic. Servis was above and beyond. If I ever need another procedure I will choose them.

The surgery was painless and quick and I had fun under the anesthesia. But I think what really makes this place great are nurses. The clinic is easy to find within Gangnam District, but I recommend staying somewhere close by so you can get to and from easily even when you are recovering. I cannot recommend Dr. Jeon and his clinic highly enough. He is the epitome of what a doctor should be—gentle, kind, humble, respectful, sweet, and exceptionally skilled. He takes immense pride in his work and is incredibly hands-on, even throughout the recovery process. He only discharges patients when he’s confident they’re fully okay despite extended hours, which really shows his dedication.

I was traveling solo and felt extremely safe and well cared for. The entire team, including the coordinator and nurses (shoutout to Savina and Min and the rest of the ladies! - I can’t remember everyone’s name), spoke excellent English and were warm, friendly, and professional—better than many doctors and nurses I’ve encountered in my home country. Their WhatsApp support was also super responsive and helpful from start to finish.

Dr. Jeon is also honest and ethical—I initially asked to do more procedures, but he advised against it because he felt they weren’t necessary. That level of integrity, turning down extra business, really impressed me. He’s non-judgmental and open-minded, making it very comfortable to share concerns or questions.

During my post three months follow-up, they did complimentary scar laser treatment and welcomed me back anytime I’m in Seoul for more aftercare. My scar is healing beautifully, and I truly believe it’s due to his excellent technique and precision.

The price-to-quality ratio exceeded my expectations, and I got outstanding value for the level of care I received. They also offer skin booster treatments, which I highly recommend doing while under anesthesia—easy and painless.

To be clear: I’m not affiliated with the clinic in any way and wasn’t incentivized to write this. I’m speaking purely from personal experience. Dr. Jeon is one of the best doctors I’ve ever encountered, and I’d 100% recommend him and this clinic to my family and friends. Truly a rare gem.

I had arm liposuction, and I saw the result immediately. My husband had a liposuction and tummy tuck and gynecomastia surgery.

We both don't speak korean, but everyone made us feel comfortable, and they speak English. Had our consultation the same day and had the surgery as well. Clinic closes at 7pm but we left just before 9pm because they will make sure that you are fully well before you get discharged and we really appreciate it.

Patient experience is really good and so is the surgery. Everything was explained properly both the pros and cons. We were both well looked after and the follow-up and therapy are already included in the package. Dr. Jeon himself does the dressing and other therapy is done by the nurses.

To the whole Evita team, we couldn't thank you enough for all the care that you've done for me and my husband.

I highly recommend this place for any surgical procedure that they have that you might want to do. It's like a family away from home.

I came across Evita Clinic on google and read every single review. I was skeptical at first but here I am, a genuine review from a real human being. My first trip to Korea and they made me feel at ease, helping me not only on the surgery I had gone through but also guiding me where I can get my food and stuff! Everyone in the clinic makes sure that I am well taken care of, making sure I feel comfortable and nothing is ever too much for them. I had chosen Evita mainly because they can converse well in English. I cannot imagine having to use google translate for every single detail so this is definitely a plus for any foreigners! I can't rave enough about Evita clinic. Dr. Jeon was very honest about his recommendations and what he could do for you. He is not pushy like some of the other clinics. He really cares about his patients. Every review I read about this clinic had been positive, and I checked out the website, and it was very informative.

It was my first time having plastic surgery, so I was very nervous about the whole procedure, but they really made me feel at ease. The nurses are so energetic and kind. They always greet you with a smile. I had my surgery in November 2023, and I love my results!
